Logistics Coordinator

Location: Western, New Providence, The Bahamas
Employment Type: Full-Time

A well-established company in Nassau is seeking a highly organised and dependable Logistics Coordinator to support its day-to-day logistics, inventory and operational activities.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional who is comfortable coordinating multiple moving parts, communicating with vendors and internal teams, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring goods and materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the movement, delivery and receipt of goods and materials.

  • Schedule and monitor deliveries, pickups and other logistical activities.

  • Maintain accurate inventory, shipment and logistics records.

  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, drivers and internal departments.

  • Track orders and follow up on outstanding or delayed deliveries.

  • Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.

  • Prepare and maintain purchase, delivery and logistics documentation.

  • Identify and communicate discrepancies, delays or operational issues.

  • Support procurement and general administrative functions as required.

  • Maintain organised electronic and physical records.

  • Provide timely updates to management regarding logistics activities.

  • Assist with other operational duties necessary to support the business.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics, inventory, warehousing, procurement, operations or a related role.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Experience working with inventory, logistics or ERP systems is an asset.

  • Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.

  • Professional, reliable and able to work effectively with different departments and external vendors.

  • Valid driver’s licence is an asset.
